CSA-NBII Biocomplexity Partnership

In 2001, CSA and the NBII joined in partnership on an ambitious government/private industry project to develop a Biocomplexity database comprised of deliverables such as the Biocomplexity Collection Database, a Biocomplexity Thesaurus, a Towards Best Practices eForum, and an open-access eJournal called Sustainability: Science, Practice, & Policy. Biocomplexity examines the countless interactions of all living entities, especially humans, with the Earth and its environment. Available through the NBII website, these collections further the NBII's mission to provide access to data and information on the nation's biological resources.
