Changes that have occurred in the field of pharmaceutical
excipients and current challenges in excipient development
are discussed, including functionality tests, harmonization,
the goals of the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council
(IPEC), and the rationale behind Scale-Up and Postapproval
Changes (SUPAC) issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration
(FDA). |
